Alvaro Morata scored twice as Spain dished out the first convincing victory of Euro 2016 by thrashing Turkey 3-0.

The result means Vincent del Bosque’s men are guaranteed to qualify from Group D with a game to spare after Morata’s double and a strike from Nolito.

The current European champions have not lost a game at the Euros since 2004, going on a run of 14 games without a loss after winning the competition twice in succession.

Spain face Croatia on Tuesday to decide who will claim top spot while this defeat means Turkey need a miracle to qualify after losing their opening two games.
