Former Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Matthew Dellavedovahas agreed to an offer sheet with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Per TNT’s David Aldridge, Dellavedova’s agreement with the Bucks is for $38 million over four years. Since he’s a restricted free agent, the Cavs do have the right to match the deal and bring him back.
However, a tweet from LeBron James seems to indicate that Dellavedova will not return to Cleveland next season:
Dellavedova, 25, averaged 7.5 points, 4.4 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 24.6 minutes per game across 76 games played and 14 starts in 2015-16, all career highs. It was his finest season to date, and he played an important role off the bench for the Cavaliers on the way to the organization’s first title in June.
