Villarreal midfielder Denis Suarez will complete his return toCamp Nou this summer after leaving for El Madrigal last summer, Barcelona confirmed on Monday:

FC Barcelona have decided to exercise the buy back clause for the player [Suarez], which will see the player join the Club for the next four seasons with an option for a fifth depending on the number of appearances in the fourth season.

FC Barcelona have deposited 3,250,000 euros for the right to buy back the player.

The buy out clause for the players has been set at 50 million Euros.

[Suarez] will undergo a medical on Tuesday and at 2.00pm CET he will be outside the Club offices for a short photo session.

The signing of the contract and the official presentation of the footballer as a new FC Barcelona player is programmed for Wednesday.

The Primera Division champions opted to trigger the buy-back clause they inserted in Suarez’s deal as part of his move to Villarreal after seeing how swiftly he developed once handed regular first-team football this past season.

The 22-year-old scored five goals and made 11 assists in 48 total appearances for Villarreal during the 2015-16 campaign, starting in 36 of those outings.
